2012 Minnesota Twins: 99 Problems...

Re: 2012 Minnesota Twins: 99 Problems...

At least we know that Willingham has no problem getting the ball out of Target Field.

I was at the game. Amongst the thoughts I was having ("Dang it's cold!", and "The Turkey To Go sandwich is pretty good.") were:

1) At least we know that Willingham has no problem getting the ball out of Target Field :D; and
2) Whoever that left fielder is is clueless, man. The ground rule double in the 1st inning he was totally fooled on, and he ran some crazy looping route to try (unsuccessfully) to get to it. Then the big double in the 7th dropped right next to him, and he lamely reached with his arm to try and pick up the 1st hop (rather than hustle with his legs to actually cut it off) and it got past him.

Only later on did I go, **** IT it's the SAME GUY.

Sheesh. Is it so hard to have people on this team who can play offense AND defense?!?

The drive for 135!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was optimistic they would win 75, maybe 80 if everything came together. It's starting to look like the drive for 135 is a possibility. Right now it's also looking like they might start 0-20. Yikes.

Anyone know if there is a Justin Verlander to be had with the top pick in the 2013 draft?

Target Field Season III: Back to the Minors

Taka Tanaka has already moved to Rochester.

Okay, maybe the Twins have had a poor start thus far, but the Vikings have a mini-camp coming up before too long, so they've got that goin' for 'em.

Re: 2012 Minnesota Twins: 99 Problems...

I think they can do it, 22 straight losses to start the season. Its a tall task, but this team has everything that it takes to meet that kind of goal.

Kind of what I was thinking. Way to promptly give up three after getting three the previous inning.
