It wasn't that difficult to support them given the fact they were playing the other M school.

Yup. I'm there too. But I also try not to cheer against those teams. It really bothers me when people cheer against a team when there is no vested interest in the game. The one exception is Wisconsin simply because of several interactions I had with WI fans 15 years ago at a football game. Never been able to get past that.

Oh, I unabashedly cheer against UND and UW. I've had plenty of those kinds of interactions with both fan groups over the years. Last time I cheered for UND was in Milwaukee in 97 and I'm not doing that again.

I had no issue standing up and cheering when WMU scored last Saturday. I have no issue with cheering against a team that I hate and a fanbase that still holds the Holy Cross incident so close to their hearts that they still wear Holy Cross jerseys and feel the need to make a Holy Cross banner. That is only one major reason....I could go on.

The Smallpox blanket was 10x better than the Holy Cross banner anyway.

I will always root for a wcha team over a ccha or hockey east team with the exception of a single rival.

The banner? Yes, they had the banner out on Saturday and Sunday actually.

We aren't talking just a little sign either. Someone took a bed sheet or something and made a legit banner. They were not joking around.

Boy I sure will miss the Michigan fans this year and their choreographed "woop woop woop" cheers..........NOT

It has been raining/snowing here in the Pacific NW since November and I am looking forward to some hot sun, cold beer and fast paced college hockey action.

Sorry, I like the bands and the other stuff that goes with the college game but that Michigan cheer was too much

That's there MO. I like the "Whoop Whoop" "chant" along with the 3rd song they play where they pretend they are moose. That probably made zero sense.
