Pretty important weekend. A non-conference record of 3-3 hasn't exactly killed us, but it's not helping either. UND really needs these two. The first couple of periods tonight could be key. HC has already had a chance to knock off the holiday rust with a pretty impressive win against Yale. They seem to have a pretty solid group of upperclassmen who lead them, and those types of teams are dangerous. The boys better be ready to play tonight.

Nice to see Michael Parks return to the lineup.

For the No. 7 team in the country to receive a first-line talent such as Parks at midseason almost doesn’t seem fair

Parks, who joined Knight and Danny Kristo on the first line, could give UND’s offense a huge boost considering as a freshman he scored 12 goals and added 10 assists. Of those 22 points, 19 came after the New Year. With that scoring touch down the stretch, the Philadelphia Flyers draft pick finished sixth on the team in scoring.

Holy Cross might have gotten a smatter of applause last night before the game but they got the business once the puck was dropped, that was the most dominating performance I've seen at the Ralph in 2 years.

By smattering of applause you mean standing ovation right?

If by standing ovation you mean general indifference, yes.

Other than the about 15 Fans Holy Cross brought, there were no HC jerseys.

Good. These young people forget the past maybe they will be doomed to relive it.

Great non-conference sweep by UND and in light of the victory:
Q: How many UND players does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: I don't know but it's worth 3 credits.

You know, I enjoyed the HC victory over the despised rodents but I never got spending 100’s of dollars on a jersey that was from a team I didn’t cheer for. I don’t see the need to buy a Boston College Eagle Jersey after B.C. whooped the rodent tail up and down the ice. I actually felt some empathy for the Gophers after their beating in the Frozen Four… Well! Maybe not but, we’d been there with our favorite team and didn’t enjoy it very much. I saw a friend of mine wearing one of those ugly HC jersey’s and I asked her why?
