Maybe it's just me but I'd rather drink alcohol than be beaten to a pulp as a team building exercise. I guess Gopher fans and players enjoy being beat though.

He didn't say he didn't want to play for Lucia. You said he did say that. Then when asked to substantiate your stance, you changed your story and said we're just "reading into things too much".

Fact is, Gersich gave several reasons for choosing UND, but the original post not only focused on only one of those reasons, it blew that reason way out of proportion.

Who's to say if the University of Minnesota wasn't the smaller school with a "small town feel" and his dad and uncles didn't play for the Gophers so he didn't have to worry about "making his own path" at the University of Minnesota he wouldn't have chosen the Gophers?

Those were also reasons he gave for choosing UND. Why am I not surprised you can't follow.

Yes, and he named two other reasons in the interview. All together, it's what it came down to. And again, his words, "hard decision". Calling Lucia was "really tough".

No spin here... I just used Gersich's own quote to give 2 more reasons why he chose UND over the gophers that you left out in your post.

I didn't leave out the fact that he liked UND's coaching staff. I acknowledged that in my first post when I asked Biddco to site his source. I just didn't spin that fact to ridiculous proportions. I concede I missed the rink remark, but that just further reinforces my point.

A very nice couple of recruits that North Dakota picked up here in the last week. I look forward to seeing them in Kelly Green and White.

It is fun seeing some of the Gopher fans getting in a tizzy about this. This is especially true when Gopher fans won a few recruiting battles over the last year and a few North Dakota fans got all in a tizzy, Gopher fans chastised them. What goes around, comes around. :p:D:D

If we were speaking about the academic colors (not that anyone wears the academic colors), then yes, pink as well. However, I was speaking about the athletic colors...you know...what they'll actually be wearing when I watch them. I can see where you might struggle to grasp that difference. :p:D:D

But there is so much more to the college experience than hockey. What about press conferences? What about class? What about riding Quinta the ER to a hospital?

If this kid doesn't wear pink often I claim he has no school spirit!
