2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

Re: 2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

You did. I totally scrolled over it earlier. My bad. Thanks for the recommendation!

Don't got there Friday morning. You might meet my brother in law. I wouldn't want anyone subjected to that. Not even a BC fan such as yourself.

Gee Dirty, that's mighty Minnesota nice of you.

There's really not many food "experiences" in GF. The Cay, maybe Sanders or the Frog, but that's no Gramercy Park Hotel by any stretch. The Pepper is not Mexican food, if you want that go to the Mission District in San Fran. That's good and way cheaper than the Pep.

Re: 2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

It's the experience. Believe me, the food was horrible. It helps if you are a South Park fan, too. ;)

OK, that makes sense. As long as you agree that the food is horrible, we're on the same page. Although it isn't every restaurant you go to that has cliff divers. :D

As long as this has turned into a food thread, temporarily,
I would recommend Widman's Candy for visitors. "Chippers" (chocolate covered potato chips) are a specialty.

Wishing all safe travels.

Well on a completely unrelated note, seems like UND has been pretty intent on locking up the local guys. Former East Grand Forks' Tucker Poolman has committed to UND.

Schlossman's assessment on the commitment:

Heading up to Grand Forks for the weekend series and once again staying at the beautiful Plaza Motel in downtown East Grand Forks. Can't beat the price.
Should be a fairly intense series with all the garbage some of these BU players are saying on twitter and the Sioux players are well aware of it. Bring it BU.

I saw that Rocco re-tweeted Rosen's little prediction... will be fun to watch him make traffic cones out of the bu players.

Rosen may want to keep his head on a swivel this series. Big Mac may be lurking.

Went there this morning, it was great. Thanks for recommending! Went to the UND Blue Line Club fan luncheon today, got to meet some very nice UND fans. The slams at Minnesota were very funny. :)
I didn't think the Minnesota/UND series was until January...?:confused::confused::confused::confused:
