2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

Re: 2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

Higher quality hockey means higher ticket prices!

And $40 is on the cheap end. I think the DU series was well over $50/ticket (including Ticketmaster fees). I'm sure if Minnesota was in town those would have been well over $50/ticket as well.

FS23 what channel on direct tv will this game be on? I don't have the sports package, but i noticed that I get a few sports channels and the B1G network. Hoping that I will get this channel as well.

I believe channel 626 has the game on DirecTV this evening.

EDIT: Yes, 626 for the North Dakota game. Also, 623 will have the SCSU@New Hampshire game (if you get 626, you should get 623).

Well i'm new to this DirecTV thing. It doesn't say i'm not subscribed, but there is only a direcTV logo on the channel. Thinking i'm S.O.L.

Honestly, I think you may be okay. The DirecTV logo is what should be on right now. Try going to 628 (NESN), and see if you get a "not subscribed" message (you should if you don't have the sports pack). Either way, try watching the SCSU game on 623. If you get that, you should almost certainly get the North Dakota game.

FWIW, the sports pack is very useful come college hockey season if you have the time and want to watch a bunch of other teams play. It's only $12.99/month as well, so not too bad, and it can be cancelled at any time after the first 30 days (aka you can keep it for college hockey season and then turn it off from mid-March thru early October).

That's what I did with cable too. Thanks!

Rowney and Parks out of the lineup tonight but MacWilliam will dress. Sounds like Grimaldi will be with Kristo and Knight tonight. Going to be interesting to see how that works out since all 3 are right handed but with their talent that should not matter one bit.

So if Rowney and Parks are still out for next weekend, along with the suspended players the Sioux could be down to 15 skaters provided nobody gets hurt tonight. Here we go again.

From the rumors that I've heard, Rowney and Parks sitting are more precautionary than anything, and that both should make the trip up to Alaska. If that isn't the case, it will be an interesting weekend up in Alaska. I guess it will give some guys good playing minutes to showcase what they can bring to the table.

Lets hope those rumors are true.

This. I have the sports package, and tonight I will get these games:

MN-MSU
Maine-Notre Dame
Army-UNO
Manitoba-UND
SCSU-UNH

The options dwindle during college basketball season at times, but there's usually 2-3 nights a month (Fridays or Saturdays) where at least 3-4 hockey games are on. I think one night last year there were SIX games on.
