We'll go with this one, I like your title much better.

Mike Knuble apparently wants to come back to Detroit. He's 40 and in decline, so it would be a typical Ken Holland signing. Probably announce it the same day that they announce they've re-upped Holmstrom for two more years.

This is probably not the thread for it anyway, but is there seriously a business sector that I could care less about their political beliefs than fast food?

Give me my chicken sandwich and get back to work.

Not political belief, but religious belief. It's become political.
And with that, the next bombshell in the NHLPA v NHL conflict will be the counter proposal by the NHLPA due in "a couple of weeks". Fehr has been asking for NHL financial data. The PA has good accountants / lawyers, so if the owners are cooking the data, they're going to roast.

Debating buying a 10 game pack from the Bruins. Prices are reasonable and the biggest thing that's drawn me is the 5 month payment plan.

Also, I can may some money off a few games to help cover the cost.

helped win gold for the US, offensive upside, still young. I wouldn't lose any sleep if he ended up in a bruins uniform.

His Lockedoutedness has proclaimed that no tickee by September 15, no washee: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=402741

What do you mean the owners can't live with the old CBA? They just offered bazillion dollar, bazillion year contract to Suter, Parise, and Weber. Looks like they're doing just fine.

I keep telling myself that both sides can't be stupid enough to let this kill all the momentum that they've gained in the last few years... But then again   :(
