Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs III: History Will Be Made

I hope someone got a screencap of Belichick waving a towel at the Bruins game.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs III: History Will Be Made

Burke made a great deal getting rid of Kaberle, but why did he let Domenic Moore go for nothing? He's been a key player for the Bolts.

And nice Penn State shout out from Doc and Edzo. :D

Anyone watching TSN? Just wondering if McGuire is "between the glass" for both Versus and TSN.

its a wonder boston is up with all the turnovers and coughed up pucks they have had. tampa is dominating.

this team can not clear to save their lives. Its awful to watch

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs III: History Will Be Made

I interviewed Bob McKenzie on Saturday - asked him who he likes in the final and he said Boston and the 'Nucks. If Thomas keeps this up he could be right. WOW!

grand theft hockey...boston stole that one. Tampa doesn't need to change a thing. they won key battles and hustled really well. Smith played a heck of a game and deserves the nod game 6

Boucher is saying that Roloson will start Game 6.

Word on Rafalski's retirement awaits a press conference tomorrow. He was to inform Ken Holland of his final decision today. Seems like it's all but official now.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs III: History Will Be Made

Had the chance to listen to Tampa sports radio over the past few days. The afternoon drive show is Lightning first, second, and third. I was impressed.

They were also much funnier than anything I've ever heard in Boston. One good ol' boy type who wanted to talk Lightning had this epic struggle to achieve coherence - and he ultimately failed. About 10 seconds in, the producer started playing banjo music over the guy - quietly at first, and just kept slowly turning it up until he was drowned out completely. There was more where that came from. Good stuff.

Pretty sure the host was a displaced northerner. Maybe NY. General consensus was that the Bolts were in great shape as they were clearly the better team, and Thomas wouldn't have two games in a row like game 5.

They were homers, but they were depressingly on-point much of the time.

No comments on tonight's game? Is Kessler hurt? That would not be good for him. Or Vancouver.

Golden opportunities blown by Vancouver. The Canucks could have buried them there.
