Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

If that pointless human doesn't call a timeout he deserves to be fired... this team has fallen apart in the last few minutes... good... he called it.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Any B's fans object to Don Cherry being put behind the bench? :D I'm sure he might be doing a better job.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

He also calls Olympic Hockey for NBC. Also noticed there is no color guy, except for Panger who is betwee/behind the glass. VS. going cheap on this one.

They've done that for most of their games since the big NBC housecleaning. If I'm not mistaken, the Wings/Yotes series was the same way (except for NBC, but I was at the Joe so I didn't have to suffer through Pierre McGuire).

Why are they "going cheap"? TSN does a two-man crew all the time, with McGuire between the benches. It's becoming more commonplace to have the analyst at ice-level rather than in the booth.

No one should have to suffer through him. :D

He might do a better job as a Rangers Coach. Even a Don Cherry team can hold a three goal third period lead.

CBC just showed Ference after scoring lifting his stick and flipping off the crowd.

"He might want to plan on opening his wallet after this"

BobbyMac on Twitter:

Biggest diff in BOS-MTL game, and it's huge, is one team passes puck very well. Other team's passing is awful. One has pace, other has none.

More BobbyMac on Twitter:

Maximum fine (re: Andrew Ference giving fans the finger after his goal) permissible under CBA is $2,500.

I wonder how many people would help Ference with that fine.

Did the goalies switch bodies or something? Price is looking like a sieve and Thomas is looking good.
