What the heck Tampa, stop tanking.

How did I not realize that in addition to hockey, Stan Fischler has also written a bunch of books about the NYC subway?

Another goal like that, huh? Lundqvist doesn't get any love from the refs. That's blown dead if it's Brodeur in goal.

Richards gets 5 for an elbow -- not sure it deserved a major.

Man, the Rangers' power play is not good.

So the Caps D Carlson played major junior, which confused me because I thought he played college. Is there another guy named Carlson who played D in the NCAA sometime in the past few years? Maybe in the WCHA?

Ross Carlson played for Wisconsin from 2003-2007, but he was a winger.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Quite the Hockey East reunion in Tampa
Brett Clark (ME)
Teddy Purcell (ME)
Mike Lundin (ME)
Martin St. Louis (VT) (I know VT was ECAC then)
Dwayne Roloson (UML)

Pittsburgh countering with Orpik and Lovejoy (BC). And that WCHA interloper Paul Martin...

Lots of college players on Tampa. You've also got Moore (Harvard) and Jones (Clarkson) and Malone (St. Cloud) and Smaby (UND) and Hall (Michigan State).
