Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

I'm not sure I would have made it through the trip +100 feet.

Agreed - it brings back bad memories of knocking on a door late at night to deliver bad news to a loved one. Twenty-one years and it never got easy. :(

That sucks. I can't stand it. I do it because there aren't many in my family or friends that will, but I hate it.

The worst part for me? The look on their face when they figure out you are about to give them bad news. There is always that split second before you actually get it out when they can read it on your face.

Truly moving tribute in Minsk.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Got some Bruins tickets today. I was trying for Opening night or Jan 13th vs. Vancouver. Last row vs. Vancouver was 146 dollars. I ended up getting tickets vs. Toronto for 30 dollars.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Yeah when I saw the prices I decided not to even bother. The most I spent on tickets last year was $99, and that was for Club Seats to Montreal Game 7. I averaged $30 or so.

Are you going to UNH vs. Maine at Fenway?

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

Tickets go on sale Sept 13th. anywhere from 5 dollars to 75 dollars I believe.

$100

Here is a proposed seating map

frozenfenwaymap.gif

Teal=Maine/UMA fans
Blue=Maine/UMA students
Pink=UHN/UVM fans
Red=UHN/UMA students
Green=Neutral seating

Seats atop the Green Monster do not appear to be included in the Sept 13 sale...

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

So did anyone see a hockey game at Fenway back in 2010? Any recommendations on where to sit? I feel like Monster Seats would be among the best, but I dunno if i want to drop $75 per ticket.

I think those are too far away. I sat in the State St. Pavilion (or was it the EMC level?). It was the seats that are above the suites. We were on the first base side. Great view. We were up high but you could see all the ice, which you couldn't if you were in the grandstand.
