2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Umm, no. I don't know how you guys are built in 'Kato, but my bladder does not connect to my butt.

My guess is that he was more or less referring to mudbutt, diarrhea.:p

come to think of it, this sounds an awful lot like the play of the Twins.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

All I know is that I've worn my Joe Mauer jersey more times in the last 45 days than Joe Mauer has. And NO ONE has any answers. WHY ISN'T JOE MAUER PLAYING BASEBALL???

Just heard from a pretty reliable source that Mauer is dealing with Lyme's disease. He's lost a bunch of weight and it would explain that and the lingering pain in his legs.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned in this thread, i just didn't feel like reading back through the depressing posts too far. The futility of this current team is becoming legendary.

Interesting that you heard that about Mauer. hmmm

Twins have their longest losing streak since 1998. :o Never good to match feats from the 90's or 70's in Twins history. Facing King Felix tonight which makes me worry we will have ten in a row.

Harmon Killebrew passed away this morning in Arizona. :(

Twins are wearing the 1961 throwbacks for the rest of the season in honor of him. Pretty awesome gesture.

RIP Killer.

Lifelong Red Sox fan here with no Twins connection, but Harmon was always one of my favorite players. Just seemed like a big, fun-loving guy who could hit the ball a country mile.

If he is, that should be reported, and they shouldn't be saying they are getting him ready for the last 4 months if he can't.

Makes me want to go to the next Twins game to give the man his due. If not I will at least stop by his statue.

eta: picked up a single for the 23rd vs the Mariners.

Dear Joe Mauer, you have Lyme disease. We miss you. Kevin is biting me. Come back soon. Here's a drawing of a spirokeet.

"And if you'll allow me, tonight I'm going to say goodbye to my hero." -Dick Bremer, just prior to first pitch.

Win this one guys.
