2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

After Delmon's big home run tonight, the first announcer said, "He's been such a big part of this Tigers team since his late acquisition from the Twins." Pause as we watch him trot around the bases, then the 2nd announcer says, "Just had to get him out of that Twins uniform!" :(

That's Ron Darling. He's a complete tard. Worst announcer in all of sports.

No, Ron Darling is far worse. For any team outside of NY, he doesn't even bother to do a minute's worth of research. The fact that he knew Delmon used to be a Twin absolutely blows my mind.

If you can get past him being one of the laziest announcers is all of sports, then you have to get through his constant junk massage of east coast teams using his tongue. If you can still get past that, congratulations, you're probably a Met or Yankee fan.

Nick wins.

P.S. Thank you for our left fielder.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I'll take a week of Hawk before a game with Darling.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I'll take Pat Summerall in a drunken stupor yelling "AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!" every third word over Hawk.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Watching ESPN Classic one night, they were showing a This Week in the NFL episode from 1967 or so, and Summerall was on there. I'll tell you what, back then, when he was on his game, he was on. I mean one of the best ever.

I'd take Brent Musberger over Hawk.

Brent Musberger makes puppies cry.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

You are looking.....LIVE at all the puppies. This game is for ALL the TOSTITOS.

So the Twinks just signed the Dodgers' Jamey Carroll for 2 years. Bad news: He's 38. Good news: He hit .290 last year, and his last name isn't Japanese.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

So happy and shocked we got rid of Smith. The Twins never make moves like this! Especially after one bad year (recordwise).

Don't worry he had less RBI's than Nishi...
