Good lord, read what you wrote again. Projections mean a little...they don't mean anything...they usually are right...which one is it?

Wow, the idea is that in theory they only are a guess of how the season will turn out. Thats why they dont really mean anything, because its not set it stone. so do they mean something? no. but have they and do they provide insight to how the season could turn out? yes. They tend to show fairly accurate results. So thats "which one". Im not saying the projections are right, or are significant in any way. Im saying that they tend to turn out how they should. Im not trying to call out SCSU, I simply defended UMD in the fact that, as of today, I consider UMD to be a better team compared to SCSU. Call me crazy I guess. I was just calling out gopher wes for his remarks, thats my opinion and it is what it is. thats the point of this site, to talk hockey and I did.

Are they a better team? Yeah, they just won a NC, something SCSU's never done. Are they a VASTLY better team? Debatable, and I can see arguments both ways, but as you're seeing, not everyone would say yes. If they'd lost in the first round of the NCAAs would they be a VASTLY better team than SCSU? Absolutely not.

But you guys won, so if you wanna call Duluth a much better team, fine, if it makes you happy, just don't be surprised if Marcia starts referring to you as Jan. And going into this season, which is a better team? Again, pretty debatable.

Get over yourself. I stated my opinion, I'm sorry if you dont agree with it, or it upsets you. I guess keep coming at me if you feel like you need to, but really? you need to accept the fact that not everyone agrees with you. Right now, as of last season, UMD was better. They have a championship. Until they prove that they aren't better than SCSU, Im going to stick with my opinion. Once again sorry for offending you.

I feel like it's somewhat forgotten that this season will still have a 12 team WCHA. Seems weird considering how drastically different things will be!

With all of the talk this offseason that is incredibly true. Heck, we still have 2 more seasons! All the offseason shuffling should only make things more interesting these final two years.

There are some teams that are going to suffer some unbelievable verbal abuse in certain WCHA arenas.

You should do that to all opposing teams. It shouldn't have taken a screw job for you to rattle a few teams.
