makes up for what? 13-1 is still a ton better than 2-12 not to mention Green Bay actually has Lombardi Trophies. I know Minnesota is so proud of their WNBA title and all and Wisconsin will never match that but the fact that you're all up tight about a "discount double check" is pretty pathetic.

We are going to miss you in a year and half.

Can't a guy get excited about putting the puck in the net? In your infinite wisdom what would have been the correct goal celebration?

You kidding?

When did I ever say a guy couldn't celebrate?:rolleyes: I'd just rather keep the "green gay" celebrations in sconnie.;) It's hard to do with so many of the idiots living in Minnesota. I keep telling them to go home, but this is their home because they don't want to go back to that hell hole of a state to the East of Minnesota. To be honest, when Ness did it, I kinda thought it was funny, but it's getting kinda old with all the idiots here in Minnesota.

Hey Shirtless, the loss to KC makes up for the fact that I don't have to listen to you idiots talk about the perfect season for God knows how long. We may still have to hear about back to back Super Bowls when this season is over. I hope to God we don't, but they will be tough to bet against when the playoffs start, especially with home field.

Jeebus Wes, take your obsession with Shirtless and the Packers somewhere else, would you?

Re: 2011-12 Minnesota Season Thread (Pride On Ice Returns!)

I will do that when they leave my state. I'm guessing neither of us should hold our breath.:D

You wanna keep biachin and whinning about it, go elsewhere, lots of places on the web for that kinda crap, stop polluting this thread with it.

Notice I dropped it ;) Anyway, good luck to the gophers the rest of the way. Hopefully Rau, Bjugstad and Alt continue to perform so I can do well in Fantasy College Hockey :)

Re: 2011-12 Minnesota Season Thread (Pride On Ice Returns!)

I might regret asking this but now I'm wondering... so would it be okay for Condon to do that after a goal since he's from WI? Or can he only do it when they are playing at the KC? Amanda Kessel would be another one.

I agree, but there sure was some whining about Rau earlier in the season. Don't remember who now.

Re: 2011-12 Minnesota Season Thread (Pride On Ice Returns!)

For whoever mentioned Bjugstad with a shoulder injury missing WJC exhibitions, I have a question (well, really 2).

1) How serious is the injury?

2) Suppose it's enough to sideline him for a few days. Would that mean he would not be selected for the team, and this be bad with the Gophers for the Classic?

Thanks.

Reports are 2 games. I'd guess that would mean it's not really serious.

And honestly, and I'm being selfish here, I hope he doesn't play in the WJC. Let's keep our players here to strive for another title. I don't care what the games are.

hammy was saying this is the kind of think you play through and take care after the season.

I could see that. Something that won't take a turn for the worst if he plays, but if he corrects it, he's done for a while.

Re: 2011-12 Minnesota Season Thread (Pride On Ice Returns!)

Sorry for a typo in my earlier post. I am still not sure what you fellows mean. Do you think he is staying with the Juniors? Or, coming back to Minneapolis for the Classic?
