Order the autopsy on the Canucks. (Stolen line, but I like it.) Bring on the Sharks.

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs III: "Don't Toews Me, Bro!"

If Chicago plays this well, the Sharks are in trouble...and I actually want the Sharks to win for once. :o :(

Granted, they've had an easy game here since nothing has gone Vancouver's way, but still...

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs III: "Don't Toews Me, Bro!"

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks for making the Western Conference Finals.

Ha! Did you see the dude in the Hawks jersey alone by the glass almost get hit with a beer? Too funny. I thought Canadians were nice. :)

That was pretty funny! I liked how the first shot back after break showed another Blackhawks fan this time shaking the hand of a fellow in a Canuck sweater. Nice job there, VS  :p

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs III: "Don't Toews Me, Bro!"

So what do you think, Saturday for Hawks-Sharks game one? Or maybe Friday if Boston wraps it up tomorrow?

Friday or Sunday, depending on Boston. There's some event at the Tank Saturday (insert joke about no one thinking the Sharks would still be playing here)

Looks like Gary Bettman proves how much he hates Canada by helping Winnipeg get screwed again. I hope the people in Arizona sue because the tax burden is going to hurt. Throw the city a bone. They deserve a franchise.

Can we do what the British Parliament does and have a no-confidence vote? Please? :D

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs III: "Don't Toews Me, Bro!"

I thought Atlanta had stable ownership and a really long-term lease at Phillips Arena?

Stable ownership? They're still wrapping up the sale of one of the shares. They're looking for a couple of deep pockets to join the board.

The long term lease is right. It's tied to the naming rights; Phillips has the right to bail on their big sweetheart deal if there is not one NBA team AND one NHL team in the arena.

Here's the beer tossing thing from last night

Nothing about Canucks fans should be surprising. Ever.

This is the fanbase that defended Todd Bertuzzi, and still had issue with what Steve Moore did to Naslund.

This is the fanbase that had no problem with Mattias Ohlund breaking Mikko Koivu's leg, then complained about the way Koivu celebrated after scoring a goal in his first game back against the Canucks.

This is the fanbase that doesn't get what the big deal is with Burrows pulling hair during a fight.

Some of the worst "halo" fans you've ever seen in your life. It's only fitting that they be sore losers as well.

That was nothing compared to what I saw years ago at Met Center when the Hawks came to Bloomington, MN to play the North Stars. :p I mean, c'mon, that beer didn't even hit the guy.

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs III: "Don't Toews Me, Bro!"

Gee, and here I thought it was just Bruins fans who were idiots. Imagine that.

Anyway, should Coyotes move back to Winnipeg, will they be called the Jets? Can that new ownership team do that? Wouldn't the name belong to the original owners?

Chicago kicked the living crap out of Vancouver. Seriously, that was brutal. Will be interesting to see how Douglas Murray "deals" with Dustin Byfuglien's "shenanigans" - or vice versa.

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs III: "Don't Toews Me, Bro!"

Dear Bruins, I will be at work tonight and unable to watch your game. Please, for all humanity and USCHO, avoid losing tonight. Yes, that means actually win a game and a series. I was 8 years old the last time you were in the Conf. Finals.

In short- Don't **** this up.

Chicago manhandled San Jose pretty good during the regular-season. Even in the one loss, they outshot the Sharks 47-14. Huet started all four games against the Sharks this season. Not really sure if that benefits Niemi or San Jose more at this point.
