Well, he/she was right about "grossly overrated".

It's hard to fault Luongo too much for last night's results though. Vancouver's team effort in the 2nd and 3rd periods was weak. Chicago was able to just play their game and capitalize on the breakaways and odd-man rushes they were given.

First Andrei Markov was "out for the season" after being hurt in October...he came back in February. Then he was "out for the playoffs" after being hurt in Game 1 in PIT. He skated again today, and is a gametime decision for tonight.

I doubt he plays tonight, but still....he's the NHL version of Rasputin!

I want to see a giant Wild/Red Wings brawl in which fans and players get hospitalized. This thread would be incredibly fun.

This is one case where the fans actually may fight more than the teams involved.

On a World Championships note...

Hey America, are you ready for the RELEGATION ROUND?! Yup, just like 2003 when Team USA crotchstomped the likes of Japan and Slovenia to stay with the big boys, Team USA will get to focus their attention on Italy and the loser of Norway v. France (France has to win in regulation to send Norway out) and more than likely Kazakhstan... Unless Borat makes sexy time with an IIHF official.

It's mystifying isn't it? He really looks nervous right now. Some big saves but he's been fighting the puck on the routine ones.
