Since the stadium's opened, it has hosted: pro football, college football, pro basketball, college basketball, club soccer, international soccer, boxing, bull riding, and tennis. Just to name a few.

Basically if it puts bums in seats, Jerry's all for it. You don't think he could convince 100,000 to come out and watch some hockey?

Well, the showdown begins tonight.

I say either the 'Hawks will wipe the floor with the Flyers, or the series will go to seven games and Chicago will probably still win the Cup.

Unintentionally, yes. ;)

Chicago will have home ice for a hypothetical Game 7 though. I'm well aware of what happened last year (:(), and what's happened this year, but not many teams have lost a SCF Game 7 at home.

Chicago wins the first two games, then the NCAA gets an injunction against them for using a hostile and abusive logo. Wearing pink bunny jerseys, the Hawks lose the next three in humiliating fashion. Games 6&7, they switch to Maple Leaf jerseys and pull off the win.

I'm waiting for NBC and/or CBC to throw it to either Pierre or Glen between the benches only to see both in full embrace making out.
