I don't think the Sharks have played badly at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure in most facets of the game the Sharks have dominated. But they can't get it past Niemi more than once a game and Nabby cannot come up with a big save even if his life is at stake.

Funny how when Marleau tallies, the Sharks seem to wind up on the losing end of the score anyway.

That pretty much sums up the 2008 series vs. Dallas. Only guy who could score in games 1-3 when they got down 3-0.

Repeating history is fun!

These Blackhawks texts alerts I signed up for are worthless. Just got a text saying the game was tied 2-2 with 5 minutes left.

What horrid defense there. Dany Heatley is getting on the Cup this year as a key contributor to the Hawks run.

There's no choke this time. They're just being beaten by a better team. All year long it's pretty much been "if Chicago has goaltending, they're the team to beat." Ta-da.

It was fun when I said the Hawks were stupid for signing Huet because they had Niemi waiting in the pipeline. I like being ahead of the curve.

Only saw most of 3rd and OT. I'll say this, it was entertaining. Agree it wasn't a defensive clinic...did anybody get tied up at center ice or did every breakout result in some kind of opportunity at the other end?

I thought it unwise for the Sharks to decide that Brett Farverah's cousin was invisible...didn't turn out to well.
