Re: 2010 Maine offseason: a lazy summer on the Stillwater

although it would be nice to see oullette play to get some experience, sirman was going to win the job regardless.

i talked with a member of the team who told me that sirman was probably going to win the job.

all of this oullette love seems to be a bit overboard. he'll likely be the first backup when healthy, and get looks if sirman struggles.

I heard the same information but don't be surprised if you see Sullivan and/or Ouellette next weekend. The Dee line is the second line. Welcome aboard.

If Sirman was going to win the job, why bring in 2 goalies?

...So is Sirman the #1 goalie because he earned it or is it more that Ouellette was injured and could not show what he has..? I hope that Sirman has improved since last Spring...he had zero confidence at the end. Well we can all see for ourseleves on both Sirman/Sullivan tommorrow vs Acadia.

Hale and Abbott? I want to know what the world record is for oldest combined ages in a broadcast booth.

Acadia beat Northeastern tonight 3-2. Looks like Acadia can compete. Hope Maine doesn't play down to the competition and keeps the effort up tomorrow.

Hey everyone, was at the football game today and went in the Alfond for a minute. Changes to the Alfond that I noticed; lighting and speakers have been raised up higher, more lights have been added. The ceiling has been painted white, no more bare wood look. The back walls up in the student section, those concrete walls have all been painted white. A few other areas have also been painted white. Looks strange with so much white. Heard something about lower seating for next year??

Never a doubt Wally!!!:D

After last weekend;)

George Hale is so far past his time its unbelievable. The guy belongs in the 50s. He calls stuff that isn't there, he must not be able to use his booth tv moniter. They watch replays and still don't see whats going on.

Acadia was second in the AUS standings (behind UNB) at the end of last season, and were knocked out out of the playoffs by the eventual CIS champions - Saint Mary's University out of Halifax. Acadia's home ice is Olympic-sized, so most seasons they have a good skating team by CIS standards. They've added a couple of key recruits out of the Western Hockey League, so they are upping their physical game. That being said, they've had an inconsistent preseason so far this year.

Seat backs for the entire lower bowl next year. Is there new glass?

I sure am jealous of UHN now. How come Maine can't host a team that tied mighty Mercyhurst at home?

so when people mention that Timmy's team is in the crapper (and getting worse), you tell us how many frozen fours and how many tournaments.

when Michigan ties a mediocre team once, you over look their history

I have a good idea that Michigan fans and UNH fans are still not jealous of Maine, wishing that Bentley had come to town

need a ride to the game, there champ? I will be traveling through in a few, let me know.
