I don't know whether there might be policies specific to the Detroit-Windsor crossing, but I can verify from personal experience at the Niagara Falls crossing that they will be real sticklers about having a passport or something similar, even just for short trips like that - and, in my experience, more strict coming back into the US than going into Canada.Get with the times, Mookie. In 2010 we say "casino or outsourcing?".

I don't know what you're talking about, nobody stole any of those banners.
STATEdude, thanks for all the info. That travel guide is awesome. I've got a few questions for you:
1. What do the yellow and red highlights in the travel guide mean?
2. My group is planning to use the city bus or a cab to get to/from the airport and get around downtown (staying at the Doubletree) without renting a car. If we're planning to mainly stay in the immediate downtown area (with maybe just a side trip to Hamtramck to go to a Polish restaurant one friend really likes), is that feasible?
3. Where will the Call Me Al Tour be? It's not the Frozen Four without running into the Call Me Al Tour.
