Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

BC defeats Harvard 6 -2. Stack with another hat trick. Other BC goals by Motherwell, Restuccia and Bizzari. BC completes the first half of the season at 11-2-4. Will be challenged starting the second half with up to 5 team members being absent to participate in the Holiday Festival.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

And that's a final, Wisconsin over North Dakota 6-2 for the sweep. Wisconsin's in first place two points ahead of UMD and seven ahead of North Dakota.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Ney had strictly outperformed Dagfinrud on paper for six weekends in a row prior to this Wisconsin series, with Dagfinrud getting the first start, and Ney getting the 2nd. So I'm not surprised to see Ney.
make that 7 weekends in a row.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Ney looked composed late in the game after appearing to strugle early with the Badgers speed and ability. Dagfinrud seemed to crumble under pressure and did not respond as well when the defense broke down in front of her which I didnt really expect after the way she played last year in the multiple games I saw her play. Looks like Ney has developed more in the offseason and it shows once you look at their team stats for the year...

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

All even at one apiece between Harvard and UNH in Durham.

Lavoie scored on a nice breakaway with a long bomb feed from Horn to open the scoring. Harvard came back to tie it up on a big rising PP blast from center point by Pucci that beat Minton glove side just under the bar.

Shots are 8-7 in favor of the Crimson.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Harvard up 3-1 on UNH after two. Frye scored on a breakaway during 4 on 4 play, digging out a loose puck from under a sprawled Minton. Late in the period she scored again, knocking out of the air a rebound of a Dempsey backhand.

Shots are 24-10 in favor of Harvard.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Empty net with minute and half left and UNH trailing 3-1.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

As with the other 57.5 minutes, UNH unable to generate any quality chances. 3-1 final.

Shots 30-12 in favor of Harvard.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Bemidji State beat Minnesota State 2-1 on a Montana Vichorek PP goal in OT. The power play was in its final seconds and resulted from a Too Many penalty in the final minute of regulation. Ouch. Tough way to lose, nice way to win.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

UMD beats a sorry ND team 4-1.

sorry ND team? what do u mean by that? now i wasnt at the game but from everything ive heard it was a decent game. martin made some great saves and obviously there were a lot of penalties. but with ND only having 8 forwards, i was impressed they kept it a fairly close game

Consider the source and his habitude for derogatory comments directed at non UMD players / teams.
