2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

I haven't seen Union but Brown and Yale are not much improved from last year. Better maybe but not much improved.

You don't like how Harvard or Dartmouth play either, so I'll take your comments with a grain of salt.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

The other thing that drives me nuts about Clarkson (also dating back to Seeley era) is use (or lack thereof) of the goalies.

The Clarkson goalie duties have been split about 45%-55% between two tenders, so not sure what you are talking about.

did i notice that the C and A's have been removed from the Golden Knights sweaters?

Perhaps you should check the box scores before you speak so you at least look like you know what you are talking about.

I believe RStarr is reflecting on last season, in which their #1 goalie indeed had 98% of the playing time.

Their Rookie goaler played for TC U18, so not a surprise to me she is getting playing time, and pushing the returnee's. She saved the teams bacon in a game that I saw recently. Goalie competition within a team is a good thing. If you rely too much on one goaler, you often end up with a void once that goaler leaves. There is a few examples of that in D1 today.

Both Harvard and Dartmouth are young and have much to do to improve. Neither should be considered a Top Ten team and I'll stand by those comments. And I won't back off my comments on Yale or Brown. If you want to take what I write with a grain of salt, fine, but you really are looking at these teams with rose colored glasses.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

After two periods, BC 3 - Dartmouth 1. Stack with 2 goals. Gametracker not working, audio is through the Dartmouth sports website.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

BC takes the win, 4-2 over the Big Green. Trunzo with the first Dartmouth goal in the 2nd period, pp goal, from Dumais. Fischer scored in the 3rd at 19:08, even strength, from Dumais.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Brienna Gillanders scores for the Bulldogs with two Badgers in the box; 1-0 UMD in the first.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Pernilla Winberg makes it 2-0 UMD in Madison.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

End of two in Madison where UMD still leads 2-1. Shots are 29-28 Bulldogs.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

wisconsin in OT 3 - 2 Un. B. Leivable

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Almost as much as it sucked being up 2-1 with 25 seconds left and giving up a goal, which only sucked minimally less than being tied after three and giving up the winning goal 10 seconds into overtime. Geez.

Re: 2010-2011 Scores and Highlights

Livestats isn't working, but it's Cornell 4-0 over Niagara after 2. Goals by Amber Overguard, Hayley Hughes, Brianne Jenner, and Catherine White.

6-0 final. White and Chelsea Karpenko add goals in the 3rd.
