Minnesota helped the Bulldogs' cause by upsetting Wisconsin 7-5. Noora Raty uncharacteristically gives up 5 goals but manages two assists to help HER cause.

That's a big win for the Beavers...maybe it'll help put some more fans in the seats of their shiny new arena.

Always do (come up with solid performances and big wins as the season progresses-Harvard, that is .) Has me suspecting that they really don't care that much about early season-which I see as also adding a little extra to their swagger? " Oh, we can wait, be patient ...")

Cornell up on Dartmouth 1-0 after 1. Dartmouth has the shots on goal edge 9-7. White scored from Hughes and A. Overguard. Cornell starts the second with a 1:10 of PP.

BU 4-1 over Providence after two periods.
Northeastern 4-0 over Yale, final.
Connecticut 3-0 over Maine, final.

Cornell up 3-0 to start the third. White scored from Karpenko on the PP, and K. Overguard scored from Cook and Rougeau. Dartmouth has the edge in shots on goal 17-16.

Cornell wins 6-1. karlee Overguard scored from Rougeau. Karpenko scored from Hughes and Ogilvie, and live stats says Fortino scored, but I think it was actually Campbell from Fortino. For Dartmouth, Dumais scored from Trunzo. Dartmouth had the edge in shots on goal for the game 26-23.

Two of the Bulldogs goals came on power plays, so that's good. I'm a little curious to read (or hear) about Katie Wilson being called for roughing twice. Goals went to Holmlov, Cournoyer and Gillanders.

Maine ties Northeastern for second straight game 2-2
Vermont ties BU 1-1 :eek:
Bemidji beats NoDak 2-1

St. Lawrence was ahead 5-1 over BC but BC is climbing back 5-3 with 15 minutes left in 3rd

Not really all that shocking or unexpected. The Lams are absent of course...and the current Bemidji squad is probably the best overall Beaver roster / team to date. I'd expect another close one in the weekend series finale as well.
