2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Check mark.

Exhausted. Not only had I written them off this season, but probably three different times in that game alone.

You're not the only one, I, as well as many others, are guilty.

I told my dad when Crain came into the game, it's over and then the Tigers scored and all I could muster was a told ya so.

I guess I was wrong...

Best of luck in your ticket endeavors guys, I got shut out through the Yankees directly, but found a couple overpriced ones on ebay. However, one can argue there isn't really anything "overpriced" about playoff baseball, especially when it was such an unimaginable thought for you guys probably only a month ago. Should be a very entertaining and interesting series, looking forward to seeing game 1 tomorrow:)

I've been waiting for over an hour...

I was in the virtual waiting room for like 2.5 hrs Sunday trying to get tickets to tonight's game. I didn't even waste my time this time around.

Well, that is close to the ratio....

shouldn't have gone there....

not yet, still waiting, if you get in buy a couple for us!
I'm probably behind you...it's my dad's birthday, so I wasn't able to get in right away...

It'll be two hours for me in 10 minutes... :(

It's supposedly random... especially since i've been in this since they opened it up. They took 10 minutes from the end of the game to open the tickets up.

Good luck. I didn't actually get in on Sunday until like 7:30 at night, and once I did get in it first said they couldn't process my order due to volume and the 2nd time said the tickets were gone.

I gave calling a try tonight, no dice.

I'm going to go shower, It will be just my luck that I'll get in to buy tickets when I'm not by computer, and I'll lose my chance.:p

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

I really can't believe the last three weeks. :)

About that play where they had Casilla tag-up: I think you have to send him, and make the other team make the play. It reminded me of that game against the Angels (except it worked in that one :o ) where Shannon Stewart got a hit, bottom the 9th, Percival (?) completely unstoppable as a closer, down by a run, 2 outs. I don't remember who the runner on 2nd was, but he was a freakin' truck. Still, they sent him home, and he was going to be out by eight feet. But he knocked the ball loose when he slid, and Stewart came all the way around to score and win the game. You don't know if you'll get any more chances, so try to make something happen.
