Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

3 Innings gone and neither team has done anything.

Nick Blackburn doing well on 3 days rest.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Yeah, 2 general admission tickets. I paid $30 per ticket per fees, but I'd probably take less, if the other people that are interested don't take them.

Really? I was too young to have many memories of the '91 series, I only remember the highlights, and the fact that my parents let me stay up past my bedtime to watch games 6 and 7. I've heard him in recent years and really liked what he's done, maybe it is just personal preference.
The only call I remember from the '91 series is...

"And we'll see ya tomorrow night!!!!"

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Cuddyer makes his first mistake at 1st base, not covering on a strike out in the dirt. But it looks like the Ump called the batter out at home anyways.

Strange play. I think the ump got it wrong and the KC player should be safe at 1st.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Caught a break on that call.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Bad breaks (ground rule 2b, hit batter) for the Twins cause them to get the bases loaded (instead of scoring), but Delmon Young delivers a 3 run double to make the breaks not matter.

4-0 Twins.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Now put up a zero, Blackburn.

Think Detroit is feeling the pressure yet?

edit: ****, 4-1 now

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Two huge hits from Delmon this weekend.
Maybe getting hit woke him up? :D

Crap
4-1

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

In classic Twins fashion, they immediately start giving runs back. 4-1.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Can we just put in Nathan now please Gardy. Quit screwing around with your bullpen. 4-3 Twins

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Gardy apparently wants to wait till the game is tied or we are behind before he brings in our best pitcher...

Sure glad this game isn't must win or anything.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Four god**** runs scored on Grienke and they just have to screw it up.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Why is Mijares out there? Where are Mahay and Rauch?

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Cuddy comes through with a homer! 5-4
