Like I said, I don't have a problem with it, as long as he knows the risks within the game. You know as well as I do that there's a difference between picking up someone's hit-and-run or steal sign, and relaying to the batter whether a fastball or a slider is coming (similar to the batter peeking down at the catcher when he's flashing signs). One will cause a team to change its signs, while the other will get you a 94 MPH heater squarely between your numbers if you're caught.

How dare anyone throw at Baby Jesus. The Tigers know better than to do that.

Wow, Delmon just hit a grand slam in the 1st. Twins up 5-0 and Tigers down 3-0. So far, so good.

If Delmon Young is hitting grand slams, that is a good sign for the night.

If the scores hold, the Twins will be able to put a ton of pressure on the Tigers tomorrow if they can manage to beat Greinke.

At the very least, if the scores hold, the Twins can make the final game at the Metrodome meaningful.

I have 4 tickets to the game Sunday, Shirtless Guy and I are going, and I'm still looking for 2 more...someone around here must want to go, its not like the Vikes are on (Brent, I'm not talking to you:p )

I really think that Ozzie wants to screw with the Tigers, which is why he is so awesome.

I don't know about the Royals' strategy here...it doesn't really work to load the bases each inning.

I'm starting to get tired of Dick & Bert.
There, I said it.

Yeah, they need to drop the Thames slide thing.

It's not just that, with all their constant promotion of the team's approach to the game they are starting to remind me of the Wild guys or McCarver announcing a Jeter game. They really need another voice on the booth to offset constant puckering in the booth. I've loved it when Carew sits in and would love him in the booth on an everyday basis - primarily because he's not afraid to tell Bert he's full of hooey. :)

Quick! Someone plunk him again!

Oh this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, well, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle... Delmon Young! :D :D

Kubal!

The Twins are all over the Royals. They should call it when we get to 10 runs in a couple seconds.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

They're really taking it to KC, I think they're a little motivated to win this, which is nice to see.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Can we take 4 or 5 runs off at the end of the night and start with those 4 or 5 tomorrow against Greinke?

Coomer was pretty much the only one that didn't act like a d-bag yesterday. I wouldn't mind hearing him a little more.
