I think the White Sox turned on fans to keep the ball sailing away from Gomez...:D

:p

In his defense though, that 2nd strike was a terrible call.

No disagreement or he would have been tossed. In a hurry. Of course one bad call forced him to swing at a pitch Mauer need to stand up to catch. :D

The Twins could be 45 games out and I would still get a big 'ole smile from sweeping the sux. :)

Agreed.

Well, the Twins sweep Chicago. They have 10 games left in the season, and hopefully can get a little help from Cleveland tomorrow. The Twins probably have to go 8-2 to have a shot at winning the division outright (would require the Tigers to go 5-6 down the stretch). I think 7 games gives the Twins, at best, a playoff at the Dome.

I'll take it. I'm still puzzled as to why we couldn't have played this well earlier in the year?

Clearly when Morneau is out of the picture, this is a much better team. I mean, all this started when he went down for the season. This is clear evidence that Morneau is a cancer on this team and they are better off without him.

What other explanation could there be?
