The NCHA has not played Adrian because it would not benefit them at all. Why put them in the schedule when it does nothing to progress the NCHA team in the rankings and hurt their SOS. They are much better off now with their insulated schedule and throwing in some MIAC teams.
You are right about this....nothing new here......and I just use the word
"fear" the same way you use the word
"hurt"
Wouldn't a win over Adrian look better on the pool c resume than a win or loss to Augsburg or St Olaf ??
Adrian has all the reason in the world to want to play an NCHA team,.
.
You are wrong about this however.
Now that the AQ is assured the MCHA champion, I don't think Adrian would have any reason in the world to want to play the NCHA....unless it were a tournament game....and how exciting will that be if or when it happens...??
In the meantime quality MIAC teams aren't concerned about the "hurt" and having a chance to play Oswego is every bit as exciting,... and will drive more interest and discussion East&West than a vist to ....say..Menomonie
