Babcock's delusional if he goes to Osgood. This isn't 2008, where he was actually better than Hasek in the regular season, or 2009, where he was able to finish the year relatively strong and work out his issues. He's played less than a game and a half since the Olympics, and hasn't won since December 12th.

For all intents and purposes, the Red Wings don't have a backup goalie.

I just don't see Jimmy Howard as a long term solution. I like him and know him personally, but he doesn't have it. I predict the Wings will be in the market for a marquee goalie this off-season.

Won't happen. Holland's said time and again that he won't shell out big money for a goaltender in the cap era.

They'll sign someone like a Biron for 1.5 million and platoon.

Hmm... I won't question Ken Holland, but he should be a little more flexible on that principle. If I were a goalie, I'd go to Detroit. The fans. Hockeytown. Plus, they have some good offensive and defensive pieces.

I'm watching Pens @ Sens while surfing USCHO. Did anybody see that interview with "Gino" Malkin and Charissa Thompson? One of the funniest interviews evah!:D :D :D

Gino can barely speak English, sounded like one of those "bad guy" Russians from movies from the 70's, and was spitting all over poor bleach-blonde Charissa.

Epic!

EDIT: The boys on the VERSUS set were all giggling when the camera cut back to them!

Just saw the high stick goal for DET.

Looked like a high stick to me but we only got one quick clip.

Did he just say Fleury made two scrambalicious saves?

Wow, Letang. If you had sold that dive before the goal, it'd still be 4-0.

Alfredsson cuts lead in half with a gorgeous one-timer. Now 4-2 Pittsburgh.

Just out of curiouslity, how many goals/points are you expecting from Hall/Seguin next year?

Tough question. If it's Hall, he could very well end up seeing time with Savard. Either way, I don't think 15-25 would be unreasonable for either player. Will it happen? Who knows, but them along with a healthy Savard and a couple guys having bounceback years, it'd be foolish not to think the Bruins offense will be better next year.

Live look in to DET-PHX and Detroit scores. Nothing Bryz can do.

2-0 DET.
