how can one not like the bruins in this series so far? Playing solid D, tending is legit, and they are scoring when they need to. Throw in savard, and than hall next year? yes please.

Onto game 4! Buffalo doesn't stand a chance!

ahhh, they're still the Bruins, you're crazy if you don't think they'll find some way to screw it all up :p

shoulder to head.

WHERE'S.THE.OUTRAGE?!?!?!?!?!?

They replayed it a half dozen times.

Please stop trying to defend Matt Cooke. He Matt Cookes. Ask Evander Kane.

...and I'm pretty sure Kane turned him into Matt 'Cooked'. ;) :D

This is how it started in New Jersey. Enjoy the fun slide to hell.

Well, did the Devils ever have an offense like the Bruins did last year? I'd imagine with Hall/Seguin and a healthy Savard, the Bruins will be closer to last year's production than this year's.

The Bruins offense last year isn't really helping them this year now is it?

Also, the Bruins offense last year was incredibly "lucky" in that their shooting percentage was very high, especially above the league average. As with most things statistically based, regression to the mean struck back hard this year for Boston. Hall/Seguin with a one-hit-away-from-being-Lindros Savard in the lineup do not a dynamic offense make.

wow... a hit from the side, shoulder to head.

seems it's not so bad now, huh?

What a laughable comparison.

Lucic is a b*tch. That is all.

Any particular reason? You have Patrick Kaleta on your team. End of discussion.

What about his "hit" on Vanek? First a hook, then a slash that sends him into the boards and out for the rest of the game and tonight (at least). Definitely a class act there.

What does hooking/slashing someone to try and break up a play have to do with being class act?

Well they're up 2-1. They're playing how they have to in order to win. Ideally, they'd be scoring more goals, but they don't have the personnel. The offense will be better next year, but not as good as last year.

If you think Julien is going to alter his system to appease a young potential star, may I introduce you to Phil Kessel?

Huh?

Kessel played one year for Dave Lewis and two for Julien. It wasn't just Julien who didn't like Kessel's lack of progression in overall game from year one to two. You won't find many if anybody who thinks he'll ever develop a more well rounded game. It was Chiarelli and a lot of fans as well.

No, Julien will not change his system, but that doesn't mean either one of those guys are the same exact soft player as Phil Kessel. Not sure what your issue is here...

Just out of curiouslity, how many goals/points are you expecting from Hall/Seguin next year?

Win at home, or go back to Phoenix down 3-1 with a freshly energized Coyote fanbase.

No pressure.

Interesting test for aparch's notes on Jimmy Howard from the past that I recall. I saw some of that shaky "Oh sh-t, oh sh-t, oh sh-t" Howard in the last game and if he shows up again tonight, say good night Irene. Don't get me wrong, the defense in front of him played brutal, but some of that shaken confidence Jimmy was out there.

You think we see Ozzy at all if Jimmy gets off to a shaky start?
