The NHL will shorten the timeline if possible:

"The dates for the Second Round and each subsequent Round are subject to “move-up” scenarios if, given the results in the prior Round, the League determines that an accelerated schedule can be implemented. "

Anyone else watching OTT @ PIT? Anyone think Crosby maybe should've gotten two, or did Ruutu embellish that too much (he did get up on his own after there wasn't a stoppage)?

Crosby deserved two all the way. Ruutu only embellished once he was on the ice and laid down.

But come on, if you put two guys together, player A commits a penalty worthy offense and player B gets hit by that offense...could you find a more unlikely penalty garnering situation than Crosby+Ruutu?

Crosby gets away with more penalties than anyone in the league though, it's pretty amazing.

NJ getting completely hosed by the clown college of officials again tonight. Pronger hacking and tackling any red shirt in front of Boucher but a Devil breathes on a Flyer and goes to the box.

Great shift by Zub-Ellias-Parise line which was buzzing a good minute before scoring the GWG.

Newsflash: Colin White has more playoff goals than Ovechkin. :cool:

To be fair, the refs are being a bit more kind to PHX than they are to the Wings, but the Coyotes still have the edge.
