20 years of Simpsons... Some fave quotes

Re: 20 years of Simpsons... Some fave quotes

Let the bears pay the bear tax. I pay the Homer tax!
Um, dad, I think you mean the homeowner tax.

That is one of my favorite episodes of all time.
Wiggum: "OK, we'll start with the tired, then the poor, then the huddled masses yearning to breathe free."

Homer: Sigh, OK. We're going to have to start all over with the Electrical College.
--> The flipchart in the background of that scene is awesome. A picture of Lincoln with a large label pointing out the Stovepipe Hat.

"Your parents were Herb and Judy Nahasapeemapetilon"

"The 'nye' Mets are my favorite squadron"

Homer: "Now we all know the 13 stripes are for good luck. But why does the American flag have precisely 47 stars?"
Apu: "Because this particular flag is ridiculously out of date. The library must have purchased it during the brief period in 1912 after New Mexico became a state but before Arizona did."
Homer: "Uhhh... partial credit."

And...

I dont know why but in the episode when all the Swedes (or is it Norwegians) move to Springfield and the kids do the ski jump but with skateboards and the one kid says "Sooo many meters" always makes me laugh.

Norwegians say "uffda." Swedes do not.

Well, we aren't supposed to anyways. :D

Homer: Well, of course everything looks bad if you remember it. Now where are my chili boots?

They're showing old classics at 6pm this week (so far) instead of repeating the **** out of the crappy ones from the last couple years. Mmmm.... classics.
