MSOE defeats Marian 4-1
Alabama-Huntsville leads Finlandia 5-2 in the 3rd.
GAC leads Lawrence 4-3 in the 3rd.
Lake Forest leads St. Marys 3-2 in the 2nd.

Great effort by SNC tonight.
A four goal third period sealed the victory, with freshman Tyler Zepeda netting the hat trick. All of his goals came on breakaways, the second while he was falling to the ice, as the puck bounced off a CSS defender into the goal.

The only SUNYAC team to take out their non-conference challenger was Cortland though Morrisville tied Nuemann!

If I am not mistaken Geneseo's last shutout in a regular season SUNYAC game was this one:

For some perspective Bill Clinton was still president at this time. Also look at the attendance at that game. 45!

They had a shutout in the playoffs that season over Fredonia. In between, they have had 2 non conference shutouts.

There were quite a few latecomers, so the attendance was actually pretty decent, though not like the Ira. There were also a good number of Genny fans at the game and the team really seemed to appreciate it when they left the ice. It looks like we might have another quality goalie tandem, which is good news. Rosmarin was a healthy scratch, which shows how well the current line-up has been performing.
