Interesting stat from the WTOP guys - first 2-game losing streak in 2 years for Oswego.

Won't get easier tomorrow at Hobart.

Great defensive game for both Plattsburgh and Norwich, the goalies both played well. Congrats Cadets, take some time off to study and then enjoy the holiday break.

Awful loss for Elmira. Question I have at this point is how many losses will they have by the end of the year? 10, 12, 14...?

Absolutely. Thomas did a great job waiting out Cadieux on the lone goal, and Marinsek looked in control the whole way. For Plattsburgh's part, I thought they executed pretty well. They certainly created opportunities, and it was also a little heartening (if frustrating) that they mostly failed due to Marinsek rather than unforced errors. Great performances on both sides.

Wow! Plattsburgh and Oswego, two of the top teams in the game both beaten at home on the same night by non conference teams. When has that happened before?

Norwich half a step faster than Cardinals tonight. Both goalies on top of it all night long. Marinsek made 2 or 3 point-blank beauty's. Cadieux kept Cards in it early with a few of his own. As a Card fan, I'll be happy to see this class of Cadets shove off. I've seen about all the Thomas, Cotnoir, etc. I need to see! Congrats to Norwich, they were a tad better tonight. See you in March!!

I was really impressed with the Cadets defense corps, they really made it tough for the Cards to get anything on Marinsek, and he handled everything that did get through. Great start.
