That seat could be a legit get. I don't believe we'll get TX if only because they'll just cheat. But we could get ME.

Now tell me we could really get AK, it's not just bullshit.

It’s not easy, but it’s not bullshit. Peltola’s a popular name, she has funding, and even the anti-Republican sentiment reaches up here. They’re going to do all they can to ratfuck of course, but that might not be enough.

Susie’s seat should always be a legitimate get for Democrats, especially now. If it’s such a “blue” state, prove it.

I'd like to hope Iowa will be in play, but i have doubts. $5/gallon has and $7/gallon diesel may be what it takes to loosen the GOPs hold on farmers.

For once, we'll have two decent candidates at the top of the ticket for both senate and governor. But the deep red 4th is always going to be tough to overcome for statewide races. I could see 2-3 house seats going blue, but all of the statewide going red just cause of the 4th.

Congress alive; Senate does thing.

The U.S. Senate advanced a war-powers resolution on Tuesday that would end the Iran war unless President Donald Trump obtains Congress' authorization, a rare rebuke of the Republican leader 80 days after ‌U.S. and Israeli forces began striking Iran.

The vote on a procedural measure to advance the resolution was 50 to 47, as four of Trump's fellow Republicans voted with every Democrat but one in favor. Three Republicans missed the vote.

It moved because Massie Cassidy switched his vote after losing his primary.

Remember when the "reasonable centrists" on this board lectured us about how uncouth it was to primary your sitting representative? How uncivil it was, and a disgusting violation of protocol and accepted norms?

Peppridge Fahm remembahs!!
Only when leftists do it. Nazis are fine.

This applies to pretty much everything.

Well, that ain't great. That drop off between 26-35 and 17-25 is the same youth-toward-MAGA trend that was seen in the '24 general.
Mind you, this was also just a Republican primary.

This more shows that AIPAC and Trump can air drop a candidate and cash into these races on short notice and sucker the olds into voting for their candidate.

Also shows that for Republican voters over 55, protecting those who diddle children isn't a deal breaker.

Would love to see Massie throw a wrench into things and run as an independent in the fall, but from the way his concession sounded, I doubt he will. Would also love to see him go scorched earth (since he was one of the few R's to actually care about the Epstein files release), but he'll likely follow such brave lame duck R's in making a few soundbites and slinking away.
