Schumer will do what his donors tell him to do.

It is up to us as consumers to convince the oligarchs that if they back dystopian fascism they will get less money than if they back the dystopian quasi-democratic corporate capitalism that made them rich the last 50 years.

That's our leverage.

Dystopian quasi-democratic corporate capitalism is a boot stamping on a face forever. Neo-feudalism is only fun for the lords until that day when it suddenly becomes very much not fun.

In both cases you get all the drugs and fresh high quality poon you could ever use, so why take the risk?
 
I went to a town hall for Graham Platner ( www.grahamforsenate.com ) last night. Lots of folks showed up, over 500 from news source I saw. It was in Ellsworth near where he grew up and close to where he now lives and works. For a first town hall I think he was very impressive, great speaking voice, knew what he wanted to say and stuck to his platform. He is Bernie Jr as far as platform goes, not sure how thats going to play out in Maine, especially rural Maine which is where he lives and works(Oyster farmer). He is looking to get as many boots on the ground as possible, door to door. And his first order of Business will be No on Question 1 which limits absentee voting and requires ID to vote.
