He wasn't a savior he was a symbol. He was one of the few voices for Ukraine in the party and was just named chair. He just got completely removed. They aren't even going to fake a peace plan and Trump just told everyone...

This is not normal and it definitely was not expected. In fact it is rather unprecedented. Turner is full MAGA and just got cucked...

I think it's less about Ukraine and more about the fact that this sends a signal about how ALL of this is going to go. He's making decisions for congress and he's not even president yet.

Yeah I’m with DGF on this one. How is anything he’s doing unexpected? It’s EXACTLY what I expected him to do. So what Turner is a cucked MAGA? Trump tosses his cocked MAGAs aside all of the time, and they love him for it. He could blow up the OEB building the day of the inauguration and say it’s because he wants a better view of the city, and I’d shrug my shoulders. Yeah, he’s absolutely going to f*ck Ukraine hard up the a**, no matter what cucked MAGA he needs to rid himself of. None of this should be unexpected.
 
He could turn Marsha Blackburn into a rug for the cost closet after the inauguration and I won’t be surprised

I mean, Handy, look at what you wrote: “They’re not even going to fake a peace plan…this isn’t normal.” Since when is making up a fake peace plan considered normal? He’s had the mask off on his fascism since 2016…now he gets to utilize everything to the fullest extent this time around, with no repercussions…he is so much more powerful and safe now in 2025 than he was in 2017…thus why we needed to beat him…

That isn't what I meant. Obviously they will abandon Ukraine, I am talking about canning the head of the committee 13 days after assumes the position...one who is fully behind the party on everything.

We have been faking peace plan ideas my whole life. How many "Mideast Peace Plans" that had zero chance to happen have pols run on? I think you are being a bit naive on that

The Ukraine comment in the original post was more of an afterthought...the big deal is that a MAGA fellator who just got Scaramuccied by a President-Elect. Even Presidents dont pull that move let alone powerless blowhards. That is what isn't normal. Purging Progressives is one thing...but purging MAGA? That is not expected.

Look Ukraine was screwed November 4th, but they were at least going through the motions to play the game. We havent even hit Inauguration Day yet. This is very very very bad.

Things certainly got a lot worse for Ukraine on November 4th but they were screwed the day Russia invaded. To be honest I have no hope for the entire planet. There's no accountability or punishment for anyone that does Evil in this world anymore. Even Hamas. You'd think what happened to Hamas would be some form of accountability, but not really. They killed some Israeli's and they get off on martyrdom so to them this whole thing has been a win win.

China's collapsing economy should be some form or accountability, but no, no one in China that matters has suffered one iota.

The only accountability I see happening in the next 4 years is a bunch of poor people in the South finding out that there lives are much worse off than they are now. And they still vote for the Republican ticket in 2028.
