The Old Dems will never learn. But the party has learned and is moving past them.

Barbara Lee is an old school machine Dem. This is a good opportunity to send a message to them: get out of the way if you can't lend a hand.

However we should ALL thank the deity of our choice that Porter announced first or this would become "entitled white b-tch steals from long suffering black warfighter."

wtf were his opponent's campaign people doing? This is a seat for the US House at a time when every seat is huge.

The Senate will never look good for the Dems again. Without 100% gross incompetence by the Reps in 2016-current the Dems would not have a chance. As it sits they have a 1 seat majority as what I truly think is a high water mark.

The Republicans probably have closer to a 60 seat ceiling.

All the Dems can do is slow the inevitable will of the Republican party.
 
It's the only way to be sure.

This is what happens when districting is done (1) incompetently and (2) to protect machine pols from getting primaried rather than protect party seats against incursion by the enemy.

NYS Dems are among the most selfish and corrupt in the country. We are talking LA level. The whole state apparatus needs an enema.

That isn't how it works. The machines will outlast us all. They may shift one way or another but they never go away and Da Yout is no more immune to it than The Olds. NY has been run by machines since the 1700s and that will never change. Same holds true in the national party as well. Don't pretend when the AOC's of the world are in leadership they won't have their own Clintonista style machine because they will have to. That is the nature of body politick...as The Olds Die off and The Yout take over the same power corrupts the exact same way.

It still boggles my mind that the NYS Dems sent the Times info on Santos back in June which basically questioned everything that has been proven to be a lie and the Times chose to ignore it until at least September. Then they didn't comment on it until like the week of the election. I get doing due diligence but they didn't even do basic background research until it was too late. Then they had the gall to play martyr when called out for it after he won. Just disgusting.
 
Cause Dems expect the media to play referee for them. And when the media doesn't, the Dems just sit there helpless, and do nothing.

will this interfere with his other schedule? Playing in the super bowls. Or is it the halftime show?
