All the privatizing of retirement money cause Social Security never keeps pace with inflation, etc. has done is made rich people richer.
 
They'll have no plan. Maybe a couple of token, un-thought-through, half-baked proposals to eliminate it quickly, but there will be no comprehensive plan on anything from this 118th House. The derps aren't capable of anything like that (like, genuinely they're too stupid to put something so complicated together) and the coward non-derps would prefer it as another wedge issue and wouldn't let the stupid out of committee.

Edit: Lazy reading. If he's out today and was only held overnight, I guess it doesn't apply to this situation, but, yeah, point still stands.

Well the hill reported that when she was asked for comment yesterday, she was confused and said she hadn’t made any decisions yet. Hill reporter said her staff put out the statement and it was clear Diane was caught off guard.

thank god someone in her office did it
