Clearly, none of them really care about good governance in the first place if MTG is who they chose as their representative. I don’t care what the Nazis think, or their Nazi voters. That said, it’s their right to vote for such a nutjob, and it’s best left to the GOP/QOP/Nazi Party to choose to rein in said nutjob, or not.
All I care about is winning so we can keep passing legislation into the future beyond* 2022 if possible. How does this situation help us win in 2022, or 2024?

I dunno...the problem is I don't think doing the opposite helps us there either. I don't think the Dems can do anything about it at this point it is up to whether the non crackpots vote R or not. If they do the country is in trouble...if they fight then we have a chance.

You think this is just about passing legislation, to me this is a bigger problem. I have a different perspective though since Jews are raised to keep an eye out for when things shift this way. I mean the other day my father, the man who said "nothing will stop Democracy from winning" just 2 weeks ago is now afraid of totalitarianism creeping in. (for different reasons than me) Every Jew I know is freaking out...

Yes I know that is gonna get me labelled as crazy and I hopefully am but this isn't just about making sure the Progressive Agenda goes through (those arguments are much more fun cause then the villain is Joe Manchin ;^) ) this is about watching as everything my great grandparents, grandparents and so on dealt with other places is starting to happen in real time here. Seeing someone espouse the crap she does, much of which was used to force my family out of Russia in the 19th Century (or other parts out of Poland before the War) is not good. That a political party is either tacitly or openly backing her and that such backing might actually give them more power in 2 years is overriding my logical brain. I just have a perspective that is not taking to all of this well.

Yes! This would make up for his blunder today. This is the exact thing that will get people to vote for him and Dems but won’t cost them any votes.
 
Kinzinger is in favor of removing MTG...I never say this about Evangelicals but I like that guy ;^)

No I agree. I just know if I had complimented him without mentioning it someone would have said "yeah but he is an Evangelical so you should ignore it" like they did when I dared say Ben Sasse made good points about the BS Electoral Challenge.

Kinzinger and I would not agree much on policy but I bet I could be friends with the guy.
 
I havent looked but I hear 11 GOPers voted with the Dems to oust MTG from her committees...

That is what the GF said. Also she said Cheney was not one of the 11 so that means they have a couple more defections even than the Trump Impeachment.

One of the things Nazis do is lie.

Do not report on what they say. Don't cover it. Don't even complain about it. Deny them every platform and silence them. They no longer exist except as a cancer.

We do not interview cancer.
 
Well I had to warn the GF because she has family that are Trumpers (also ex GOPers who hate Trump and his brood...interesting mix) and they were gonna post it on FB. She has spent all day denigrating them to the point even their friends are turning on them.

I get not liking people over policy...but the things they were saying are vile to say even about your enemies. And they were being egged on by people in Congress right now.
