But enlisted women are 18 and thus too old for him.

It is looking like it will be:
McCarthy - 216
Jeffries - 212
Present - 6

So, that would mean there are technically 428 votes; thus, 215 needed for the win. 216 does it for McCarthy. FWIW, Pelosi won her last Speakership for the 117th Congress with 216 votes (of course, in an organized fashion on the first vote).
