Economically I do not see eye to eye with him. I will admit I have not kept up with his writing at all over the past few years so perhaps that has changed ("that" = either my opinions or his writings, either/or).

I am most definitely not as far to the left as most of you on this board, but I am without a doubt part of that middle ground "Lincoln Project" crowd that has no home anymore with this insane, evil and fascist version of the GOP. I've never been a joiner, but the Republican Party was always my soft almost-home. Now I feel like I have none*.

Wasn't a plane. Those behind the plot just set of a bomb outside the walls there. Because they never found plane wreckage inside the building or the area.

Maybe you just assume he’s doomsday writing when in fact, he makes a lot of good points.

Join the mainstream Dems. Seriously. People like Schumer are Eisenhowerian. They aren't going to fundamentally change anything about the financial system but they believe in regulation (like Adam Smith did) and social welfare systems (like Hayek did).

The GOP's frantic run to the Bircher Lunatic Right since 1994 has completely overwhelmed the fact that the Democratic party has become a pro-business, pro-growth party on economics. They are ultra liberal on social issues but center-right on economics. It sounds like they are a perfect home for you.

I'm not asking you to be AOC or Bernie or even Liz. I think you would find the mainstream Roverian Dems a perfect home. Plus, you know, good for your soul that you aren't aligned with Nazi criminals anymore. :-)

Now, edit your original post, go to the bottom right of the photo, find the black resize and pull that in to about 1/20th its height. Thank you.

I deleted it from my quote. Was viewing on mobile so it sized to fit the screen.
