I missed this one from a couple weeks back: The esteemed US representative of Texas' 1st congressional district Louie Gohmert asked a very important question of the US Forestry Department during a meeting of the House natural resources committee...

Could the Forest Service and/or the Bureau of Land Management lead the way in adjusting the orbit of the Moon or Earth to help combat global warming?

It was posted here at the time...sounds even dumber now than it did then. This guy gets excited and shocked when you pull a quarter out of his ear...

Wait, you’re going to try and pass more legislation later? Only republicans can do that!

If Sinema and Manchin let us, bulldoze over them. Fuck them. We know they don’t actually care about infrastructure. We know they know that we know they don’t care. Give Sinema another “fuck you” ring to wear, give West Virginia $1 trillion of the $6 trillion Bernie’s proposing, and march onward and upward.

Drew will be along to tell you why this is a good thing once he finishes removing Susan's muff hair from between his teeth.

Please. Drew will blame Democrats that the bill wasn’t $3 trillion and call it a “midterm disaster” for the blue team.

Collins or Murkowski’s votes could be for sale as well. Honestly I think the Dems would be better off just passing one bill with reconciliation but doesn’t look like Sinema or Manchin are on board with that.

I’m not sure how easy it is to work with with a party who just tried(and to some degree are still trying) to overturn the presidential election but I could be wrong.

I endorse this plan! Hell buy Sinema an expensive bag and have them right "Thumbs Down to the Filibuster " on it!

The Cafe Kropotkin Caucus endorses this proposal.

From what I’ve read, Manchin is on board with budget reconciliation, but his price tag is $2 trillion or so.
