Tom Cotton lied about being an Army Ranger in Afghanistan.

Republicans, for all their "support the troops," will probably try to sweep this under the rug.

They already have. He did at least take the training and graduate, so that emblem on his uniform is legit. He did not actually serve with them though, correct.

This reminds me of people getting mad about Ventura saying he was a SEAL, when he didn't actually serve with them. Quite a few actual SEALs didn't really have a problem with him saying he was one of them though, because he had taken and graduated BUD/S training.

I've lost my point so I'll just end with Tom Cotton sucks.
 
After Romney lost in 2012 there was a report that came out and the GOP had reflected on the loss and decided they needed to change if they wanted to move forward. In 2016 they went the opposite direction of that report. Now that Dump has lost they are all in on opposite and have reverted to full whine/obstruction mode now that the Democrats have taken charge.

Dump got the most Republican votes ever, so it wasn't a repudiation. Therefore, they just need to Dump harder while suppressing votes in the states Biden barely won with the state legislatures that picked up seats. That's why the Dems need to go all in on a VRA with their budget reconciliation somehow. Then they can win seats in 2022 and have a shot at legislating for the first time in a couple decades
