Re: 116th Congress: Episode 2 The Turtle Has Total Control

Thinking about this a moment, of the last four Republican POTUS holders, half of them have been divorced. Of the last four Democratic POTUS holders, none of them have been divorced.

Hm...

I wouldn't say that. C+ Augustus still has a higher body count of innocents murdered, though Dump's reversal of environmental policy will eventually run his to Mao-level numbers. W was a dunce and had the ability to ignore the pain his actions caused that is dispositive of his social caste. Dubya is still the second-worst president of the modern era, if not all US history. The plague doesn't make cholera any healthier.

Re: 116th Congress: Episode 2 The Turtle Has Total Control

LOL. Yikes!

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina may have made his most profound contribution to public discourse since Donald Trump was elected when he invited Trump's personal attorney/fixer Rudy Giuliani to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Democrats on the panel immediately began to salivate at the prospect of cross-examining Giuliani, who has served as the shadow intermediary in Trump's campaign to extort Ukraine into investigating his political foes.

"Good. I have questions," Sen. Kamala Harris of California tweeted Tuesday morning upon hearing the news.

The ranking Democrat on the committee was equally pleased. “I welcome the opportunity to question Rudy Giuliani under oath about his role in seeking the Ukrainian government’s assistance to investigate one of the president’s political rivals," Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California said in a statement. "Democratic members have plenty of questions for Mr. Giuliani and this would give us an opportunity to help separate fact from fiction for the American people."

Naturally, Judiciary Chair Graham has invited Rudy G in order to spread Trump's baseless propaganda about his effort to manipulate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into doing his political bidding. "Given the House of Representatives’ behavior, it is time for the Senate to inquire about corruption and other improprieties involving Ukraine," Graham tweeted Tuesday.

Ultimately, Fox News would end up playing Giuliani’s unsubstantiated disinformation campaign on a loop absent any factual pushback from Democrats. However, the other 75% of Americans would have a chance to witness Rudy G's crazy under withering questioning from Senate Democrats.

This has GOT to be that ol' Lindsey is PO'd over the Turkey decision and looking for some payback. There is zero chance the WH wants Giuliani testifying under oath anywhere at anytime, even if its in his own kitchen.

Oh Rudy

“BREAKING: President Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani is refusing to testify before the House Intelligence Committee unless committee members vote to remove their chair, Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff: “Let them hold me in contempt. We’ll go to court. We’ll challenge the contempt."

Re: 116th Congress: Episode 2 The Turtle Has Total Control

You know how people like to say "[insert smart person here] has forgot more about [insert topic here] than we could ever learn!"? Rudy is the opposite of that :D

Re: 116th Congress: Episode 2 The Turtle Has Total Control

Will he actually be sworn in, or is he just being "invited" to speak? Remember that it was practice in the early years of the Millennia to invite members of the Bush Administration to House and Senate hearings and not swear them in.
