Why would that be a surprise? Barr doesn't care what his legacy is and Pompeo is a political animal of the highest order.

The GOP is already running anti-Dem congressional ads for the 2020 elections. I also saw a Trump 2020 ad this week.

We're literally more than a year out from elections, this is crazy.
