That could put MI-3 in play for the Dems, if he splits off 10-20% of the vote. He's going to lose, it's just a matter of how many votes he takes from whichever Trumptard the Republicans nominate.

He's going I, not switching to D?

How much did he win by last time? If it's over 10 points the seat probably stays red.

He won by 9 in 2018, but by 15-20 in the previous three elections.

Of course if Pete Meijer is going to run on daddy's money and Trump's jingoism, then the Republicans will probably win. But if it's close, there's no reason not to find the best candidate and throw some money at it.

He wasnt flipping D...his whole thing now is how the Two Party system is broken. Would be hypocritical to then stay within said system.

No way Amash would ever flip to D. He's a Tea Party conservative who is smart enough to see Dump for he cowardly, criminal fraud that he is. He's Ted Cruz with some shred of integrity remaining.

I'd be fine with any D replacing McConnell no matter how bad they are but she's literally campaigning on the idea that McConnell is the reason that Trump isn't passing more progressive agendas or "draining the swamp". This will appeal to literally nobody. I'm not gonna tell you how to spend your money but good god that's hilarious levels of ineptitude and even McCaskill and Heitkamp were barely smarter than that (and they lost as incumbents to MAGA chuds during a blue wave).
