Roy Moore signed the "Send Her Back" petition. Makes sense. She's like 16 years too old for him.

Since when did AL’ers start giving a turkey about the Jews?![]()
They need them all in Israel so they can all perish in armageddon. Because if there's any book in the Bible based even tangentially on reality is Revelation.
Her other challenger: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/minneapolis-police-officer-and-celebrated-iraqi-war-veteran-announces-run-for-rep-ilhan-omars-seat
Sounds like his entire campaign is based on "9/11". I'm sure that will play well in Minny.

“Immigration is a big issue right now. I believe in having a secure border; if you don’t have a country you don’t have a border and our border agents are doing a great job, but they are being overwhelmed and Congress isn’t giving them the tools they need,” he said. “But I would also like to see a pathway to citizenship for those under DACA; they couldn’t help they were brought here and need a shot to be able to stay here.”
Kelley stressed that he also remains firmly committed to boosting Medicare, while ensuring private health insurance remains available and the costs are driven down
“A big concern I have is our national debt, and I would like to work on bringing this down. It should be a priority,” Kelley continued. “I have a 5-year-old and this debt will be in our children’s lap.”
And despite the blatant political differences he has with Omar, the local police officer is vowing to run a “positive, fact-based campaign” that won’t entail attacking or ridiculing his opponent.
“I won’t be bringing in controversy and scandal. I will be bringing firsthand knowledge of the things that I know are going on in the community as an officer. I see a lot every day – the homelessness, the opioid crisis; I want to bring these things to the forefront and put some ideas on the table on how to deal with them,”
Seriously lol. Anyone crowing about the debt in 2019 (which is solely going to be used to block necessary spending if a dem wins) is not a serious candidate. And when they're a Republican it's even more ridiculous.GOP concerned about debt again. How cute!
Mn-5 is Minneapolis and we don’t like conservativesWhere do you get that his whole campaign is based on 9/11?
Also in the article linked:
and
I don't know anything about MN-5, and I could see disagreeing with his politics, but at first glance he seems like a pretty viable / sane / reasonable candidate for people to consider.

If the Republicans are serious they can claw back the $23 trillion they have stolen from the treasury for the rich since 1981. Then we'll talk. Until then, they can DIAF.
does kepler realize that this is less an a trillion a year? repeat, not even ONE trillion a year?!?!![]()
That article couldnt be more propaganda if he wrote it himself. He MIGHT have a chance as a GOPer but as an Independent with zero experience and little to no support not likely. The fact that he blatantly speaks out of both sides of his mouth wont help him either when it comes down to debating her. She will eat him for breakfast. He would be better off running in another district.
I want to fix the debt...but I want to boost Medicare! I want to fix the debt...BUT I WANT A MORE SECURE BORDER WITH MORE RESOURCES!
He has good credentials (for now) but I dont see him doing very well in the...shall we say...ethnically diverse areas of that district. (like say Somali Town) His best bet is to hope for a Ventura like victory where 36% is enough to take it but since the GOP isnt even trying that doesnt seem likely. The second he goes negative (and he will) he will crash and burn.
Former Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) has taken his first formal step toward a return to Congress.
The former House Oversight and Reform Committee chairman has created an exploratory committee to run for the San Diego–area seat now held by his GOP colleague, Rep. Duncan Hunter, who is fighting federal corruption charges.
Issa represented a neighboring congressional district for 18 years before retiring in January.
Maybe have them fight to the death and shoot the winner: https://thehill.com/homenews/house/...-committee-to-challenge-gop-rep-duncan-hunter
