Even in the age of Trump, that’s got to be the most bizarre political accusation I’ve ever read. They’d better have some pretty sturdy evidence.

It's a conservative meme, there's literally no substance to it whatsoever. Only far-right tinfoil sites report on it.

Sucks that he has Parkinson's.

The Dems need to field competitive candidates for both those seats. I know the GOP will cheat again but we have to keep pushing. Once we gain power, even if that takes a 60-40 split to eek out a 51-49 win, we can roll back all the suppression and outright fraud and re-establish democracy one red state at a time.

It's a generational fight against fascism. It's our world war. It will probably take 20 years to uproot fascism in America.

Abrams is running a huge project to identify and challenge systemic voter suppression that is far more important. I get the impression Abrams is a brilliant organizer and doer but perhaps not the best hood ornament Member. Yes, sometimes a Member is actually a competent thinker (Franken, Warren) but typically they are "donation urinals" - attractive repositories for the results of fundraising and what in the charity biz they call "development." Basically, Members are CEOs -- they have nice hair, a big Rolodex, and a way to separate dumb rich people from their money, but they don't do anything.

If Abrams can create a quick strike organization to prevent the Republicans from destroying our democratic institutions, that will pay dividends well beyond one seat and also, you know, save American democracy.

Run one uber liberal and one conservaDem for each seat and their supporters vow to vote for one another. Problem solved!
